India celebrates the launch of its first LNG driven bus that features Chart’s cryogenic fuel storage tank.
Engineered and fabricated in the US, the 420 litre capacity tank stores 190kg of LNG that has the capability of powering the bus for up to 375 miles.
Mr Pradhan, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, confirmed the government’s plans for the wider use of LNG, for rail and heavy haulage fuelling, to assist with India’s plans to meet its COP21 commitments.
