Chart Industries will provide heat exchangers for the Qatar Liquefied Gas Company Limited (II) Plant expansion, to help fulfil Air Products’ contract with them.
The Energy and Chemicals Division of Chart will supply multiple large brazed aluminium plate fin heat exchangers.
The order from Air Products and Chemicals Inc. is for the Qatargas II LNG Facility Expansion Project at Ras Laffan, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and ExxonMobil Qatargas (II) Limited.
The plate fin heat exchangers will be used in the nitrogen refrigeration system of Air Products’ new AP-XTM natural gas liquefaction process.
