China industrial gas industry starts 2018 with big orders

Kaifeng Air Separation Group (KFAS), based in Kaifeng city of Henan province of China, has signed a contract for two sets of 60000 Nm3/h air separation plant – a big order for the start of 2018.

The ASUs are for the hydrogen (H2) from coal comprehensive utilisation project of Jingmen Petrochemicals Company. In addition to the air gases of oxygen (O2 ), nitrogen (N2), and argon (Ar), carbon dioxide (CO2) and synthetic gas will also be supplied via pipelines to the plant area.

In addition, it is known that KFAS has also recently signed a contract with Shaangu Power Group to supply three sets of 42000 Nm3/h ASU. These ASUs will be used for the three million tonnes per annum stainless steel integrated complex phase two project in Indonesia and Shaangu Power is the general contractor of the ASU project.
