Wuxi Triumph Gases Equipment Co. Ltd., one of the largest vaporizer manufacturers in China, is to supply all of the vaporizer equipment for the world’s largest industrial gas complex under construction in Saudi Arabia.
Air Products announced the facility in April this year, a joint venture project with ACWA Holding that will be built in Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The $2.1bn complex will supply a total of 75,000 metric tons per day of industrial gas for 20 years to Saudi Aramco’s refinery in Jazan.
The project will become the largest industrial gas complex in the world and is expected to start up from late 2018 to early 2019.
Now, Wuxi Triumph has won the contract – through international bidding – to provide 29 sets of vaporizers with a total contract sum of more than RMB 3m ($470,000 approx.). According to a statement, the deal was signed at the US headquarters of Air Products.
