China Boqi Environment Solutions Technology Co. debuted on the Tokyo Stock Exchange recently, where its shares soared 61 percent from their pre-market price and it hopes to boost technological cooperation.
Becoming the first Chinese company to list on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE), its shares finished the first day’s session considerably higher than expected and the debut comes as an increasing number of Chinese companies list in foreign markets to raise money and increase their standing among foreign investors.
China Boqi make equipment to remove nitrogen oxide and sulphur oxide in emissions from large coal-fired power plants in China and by listing on the TSE, the company hopes to boost its technological cooperation with Japanese firms.
