CIBI finalizes collective bargaining agreement

Consolidated Industrial Gases, Inc. (CIGI), now an independent member of the Linde group, has finalized its collective bargaining agreement (CBA) for the 2006-2008 proposal.

The negotiation between the management and the Union took five months and a total of 16 meetings before the panels completed on 3rd August 2006.

Both the management and union panels agreed that the company’s financial stability is a top priority, whilst making sure CIGI’s employees are aptly compensated and competitive in the industrial gas market.

The panels expressed mutual support and commitment to continuously work together to achieve industrial peace as well as the company’s business leadership goals and objectives.
