Carbon capture is a hot topic when it comes to cleaning up our planet, but did you ever think that carbon capture could also clean you as an individual?
That’s what CleanO2 has made its mission. Earlier this week (19th Oct) it launched what is believed to be the world’s first carbon capture soap.
Based in Canada’s Alberta province, CleanO2 uses a CarbinX small-scale carbon capture device to capture carbon dioxide (CO2) from building heating systems and transforms it into pure, non-toxic pearl ash for a uniquely smooth and silky lather.
It’s a brand-new process, and CarbinX should cut the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere by six to eight tonnes annually, the equivalent of 300 trees.
