Danish biogas plant producer Ammongas A/S (Ammongas) is collaborating with Clean Methane Systems LLC (CMS) – a US biogas-energy systems company – to bring cost-effective biogas upgrading technology to North American renewable natural gas (RNG) customers.
The new amine technology reduces how many steps are required to prepare and inject RNG into the gas grid, in addition to lowering operational costs through its gas stream contaminant management ability.
Stating that the company is committed to efficiently recovering methane for beneficial use in North America, Tim Robinson, President, CMS, added, “We view the Ammongas upgrading technology as the next step forward in accomplishing that objective.”
Both companies are equipped with extensive experience in the biogas and RNG markets, with Ammongas specialising in the European biogas sector from its Glostrup, Denmark headquarters.
