CNH Industrial has unveiled the T7 Methane Power liquefied natural gas (LNG) pre-production prototype tractor.
The model, part of the company’s New Holland Agriculture brand, is billed as the first commercialised natural gas tractor.
In comparison to the T6 Methane Power CNG, it marks a fourfold increase in fuel capacity.
CNH Industrial partnered with UK-based Bennamann, whose multi-patented approach converts fugitive methane to clean biofuel – offering an energy independent and sustainable farm system.
