Energy infrastructure company Tallgrass will develop a commercial-scale carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration hub in the Denver-Julesburg Basin in Wyoming, US.
The company on Thursday (Jan 21st) said it has been awarded a grant from the Wyoming Energy Authority to develop the site, which is set support the state on its journey to net-zero.
Tallgrass will use the new capital to fund development activities and drilling and characterisation well
Kyle Quackenbush, Segment President at Tallgrass, said, “The Eastern Wyoming Sequestration Hub project is a strong addition to our existing decarbonisation initiatives and aligns with our broader clean energy strategy.”
