A potential carbon dioxide (CO2) transportation and sequestration solution for the Texas Gulf Coast, US, is being explored by Enterprise Products and Oxy Low Carbon Ventures.
The duo on Monday (25th April) said they want to provide services to emitters in the industrial corridors from the greater Houston to Beaumont/Port Arthur areas.
Under plans of the project, Enterprise has said it will develop the CO2 aggregation and transportation network through utilising new and existing pipelines along the Gulf Coast.
Supporting this, Oxy will develop sequestration hubs across the US, which are expected to be anchored by direct air capture facilities, through its 1PointFive business unit.
