CO2Meter launches portable welding gas analyser

Gas detection and safety monitoring firm CO2Meter has released a new portable carbon dioxide (CO2) welding gas analyser to verify correct CO2 concentrations in welding gas mixes.

The Florida-based company’s CM-1650 measures mixed cylinder or blended gas at a mixer to ensure the gas accuracy and weld purity, meeting standards set by the American Welding Society (AWS).

Travis Lenander, CEO of CO2Meter, says the previous lack of quality and affordable devices to accomplish the above was something the company viewed as a gap in the market gap.

Josh Pringle, Executive Vice-President of CO2Meter, added, “The last year has really allowed us to identify an opportunity in the market and create a product which provides a solution for our partners in the gases and welding world.”
