CO2Meter has supplied numerous safety monitors to one of the largest pharmaceutical companies, to help keep customers and employees safe from the potential hazardous effects of CO2 exposure from dry ice that keeps Covid-19 vaccines cold.
On December 1st the national pharmacy chain contacted the Florida-based company asking about devices to detect the release of CO2 when dry ice sublimates. The chain needed more than 800 monitors to be distributed to the first vaccine administration facilities on short notice.
Following the request, CO2Meter provided the chain with easy to install CO2 safety monitors that will detect the gas even at very low levels. The device will alarm and alert staff to possible CO2 exposure if the build-up of the gas exceeds the OSHA mandated set points for safety.
