Cold Jet® has launched a new on-site dry ice slice production system, the PR750.
The new device combines pelletiser and reformer technology, allowing users to manufacture dry ice and reform the ice into desired slice size, before producing individually wrapped slices.
The manufacturer, Cold Jet hopes to “revolutionise” the Airline Catering and Transport Cooling markets by reducing over-orders.
Wim Eeckelaers, Dry Ice Manufacturing Systems Senior Vice President for Cold Jet commented, “With the PR750’s just-in-time, on-site production, quality slices can be produced quickly and efficiently, eliminating the middleman and putting control back in the hands of airline caterers.”
