Session 4 of gasworld’s ’Global CO2 Summit 2022’ virtual event was attended by guest speaker Dietmar Juchmes – Director of Business Development & Sales at ColdJet, who discussed everything dry ice, from markets, potential, trends, and new solutions.
The main drivers for dry ice within the next few years, according to Juchmes, are in the food and beverage sector and cold storage – from food to pharmaceuticals, and continues to help maintain critical temperatures for life-saving therapies, in addition to being environmentally responsible (no secondary waste).
“Trends for dry ice at the moment have been in the food home delivery sector. Here IoT and automation plays a really important role because it can be easily integrated,” he explained.
