Coltraco Ultrasonics, a safety and survey equipment manufacturer, has released a new leak detector to add value to its Portascanner® package.
The PortaleakTM is a portable, ultrasonic gas leak detector which has been designed for reliable, hands-free detection of nitrogen (N2), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).
Equipped with a highly sensitive horn, the unit is able to ‘listen’ for ultrasounds which occur naturally when pressurised gas passes through a confined space.
