Ongoing concerns in the steel business are deepening with Tata Steel confirming it is making further job losses in its UK operations.
The company revealed no less than 1000 job losses, the majority of which will be at its Port Talbot site in South Wales.
The Port Talbot facility currently employs 4,000 workers, and is the biggest steel plant in Britain in terms of workforce and output.
