Brazilian industrial gas company Indústria Brasileira de Gases (IBG) has started up a new production unit in order to meet increased demand for oxygen as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
New field hospitals are one of reasons behind the increased demand for oxygen across the country. The new spaces are being installed to help serve those affected by the virus to relieve the public health network.
IBG is currently supplying cities such as Florianópolis, Goiânia, Guarulhos and Indaiatuba, and is in discussions to serve other parts of the country.
