Corteva Agriscience and SIAD reduce CO2 emissions in Northern Italy

Pure-play agriculture company Corteva Agriscience and SIAD have officially opened a new 3.7km stretch of gas pipeline to supply nitrogen to Coreteva’s production plant in Mozzanica, in the province of Bergamo.

SIAD said the project will bring environmental, safety and cost benefits to all parties involved with tangible positive effects on the environment.

SIAD Engineer Gianluca Ravasio explained, “We started working outside of the Corteva production plant going from West to East, respecting the area of Fornovo S.G. where there are archaeological sites with tombs and other important artefacts and finds from the Roman era.”

“In late 2018, the new supply line to the west outer wall of the production plant was completed and in December, the works for the final connection with the supply lines to the production plants were also completed.”
