Cryogenmash

Moscow-based Cryogenmash is one of the largest players in the Russian gases business. Now the company is expanding through new acquisitions.

Cryogenmash was founded in 1949 and its head office is situated in the city of Balashikha – eight km east of Moscow. The company has over 50 years of experience in cryogenic engineering and has been the major builder of air separation plants (ASUs) to the Russian Federation over this time.

Not only has the company been a major supplier to the Russian Federation steel and petrochemical industries, it has been an integral part of the development of space travel and the former Soviet Union Space Programme that launched the first man into Space.

Over 95 per cent of the installed capacity to produce oxygen in Russia was built by Cryogenmash and the company has been able to invest in modern design/build facilities in Moscow since the upturn in the Russian economy in 2002/3. The company commissioned a state of the art CAD/CAM/CAE engineering facility in Balashikha in 2004.
