Linde subsidiary Cryostar has won an order worth more than $50m to supply gas reliquifaction equipment for a new fleet of liquified natural gas (LNG) tankers.
LNG has become a major ingredient of the energy economy and its growth potential is undisputed,$quot; said Linde executive board member Aldo Belloni. He also stated, $quot;We are very well positioned to capture a significant market share.$quot;
The new fleet of five tankers, to be built by 2008. will have a cargo capacity of 265,000 cubic metres. They are destined for use in the LNG trade between Qatar and the USA.
