The proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyser will be powered by hydropower to produce green hydrogen for the North American market.
Amy Davis, Vice-President and President of New Power at Cummins, said the project both represents a milestone for Cummins and the US energy transition.
She said, “Adding the 35MW of this Linde plant to our electrolyser project footprint highlights our commitment to scaling the green hydrogen economy and our ability to support large-scale renewable hydrogen production with marketing-leading innovation.”
