Areva H2Gen, a technology provider specialising in hydrogen (H2) production, has appointed Cyril Dufau-Sansot as its new President.
The Supervisory committee of the French company unanimously appointed Dufau-Sansot, who takes over the helm from Michel Gugenheim after he served as CEO at the company since 2010.
Dufau-Sansot has an engineering diploma from Polytech Marseille, where he specialised in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics. Most recently he was General Manager of Viessmann Industrie France since 2012.
In a press release, it stated that the new boss aims to help the company become “France’s leader in proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis hydrogen generators,” and to “make it an international player.”
