A deal between Linde North America and Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide could result in the further strengthening of hydrogen fueling in California.
The deal involves the development and manufacture of additional retail hydrogen fueling dispensers for the further enhancement of hydrogen fueling infrastructure in California. The hydrogen dispensers are targeted to be delivered to and commissioned by Linde North America around the fourth quarter of 2015.
“We are excited by California’s commitment to further develop the hydrogen highway, and pleased to be working alongside Linde in furtherance of this effort,” said Brian Olson, President and CEO of Quantum.
“The hydrogen infrastructure is being built in key areas with multiple phases expected to follow. There is a growing network of hydrogen stations supporting the new fuel cell electric vehicles coming to California from multiple OEMs,” concluded Olson.
