Gas detection system manufacturer Det-Tronics has released a new explosion-proof smoke detector that is suitable for hazardous, industrial and commercial applications.
The Det-Tronics® SmokeWatchTM U5015 Explosion-Proof Smoke Detector features signal processing, advanced photovoltaic operation and a rugged design in order to handle extreme environments.
When used in tandem with the Q5016 Duct Mount Accessory, the U5015 smoke detector can be easily installed onto the exterior of duct walls for air-handling duct monitoring applications. The Q5016 senses differential pressure between inlet and outlet tubes to drive a continuous air sample through the SmokeWatch measurement chamber.
