National and regional bodies such as the Compressed Gas Association (CGA), European Industrial Gases Association (EIGA), British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA), IndustrieGaseVerband (IGV), Asia Industrial Gases Association (AIGA), China Industrial Gas Industry Association (CIGIA), Japan Industrial and Medical Gases Association (JIMGA), All Indian Industrial Gas Manufacturers Association (AIIGMA) and the Australia New Zealand Industrial Gas Association (ANZIGA) exist in the very name of this crusade, in the spirit of safety, good practice, and harmonisation.
