Independent energy expert and assurance provider DNV is increasing the scope of its hydrogen focus in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region by appointing four experts to support rapid growth in the area.
As more organisations and governments shift towards alternative energies, APAC markets continue to take on low-carbon hydrogen technologies and – as part of the ongoing trend – DNV’s 2022 Energy Transition Outlook (ETO) forecasts that APAC hydrogen production for energy purposes will meet 9% of APAC energy demand by 2050.
The new hires comprise of Dr. Robert Judd, Technical Director Hydrogen & Gas, APAC, Dr. Thomas Koller, Senior Hydrogen Consultant, APAC, Dr. Peerapat Vithayarichareon, Principal Consultant, and Scott Trevean, Senior Hydrogen Engineer.
Highly experienced in their respective fields, the new appointments will contribute to DNV’s hydrogen network, responsible for delivering over 120 projects over the past 12 months.
