DoE announce $20m to accelerate CCUS

The US Department of Energy (DoE) has announced up to $20m in federal funding for cooperative agreements to help accelerate the deployment of carbon capture, utilisation, and storage (CCUS).

The selected projects will support the Office of Fossil Energy’s (FE) Carbon Storage Programme.

“Carbon capture is essential to lowering global carbon emissions,” said US Secretary of Energy, Rick Perry.
