Aberdeen-based oilfield services company Dominion Gas has been awarded for its achievement in internationalisation at the 2009 Northern Star Business Awards.
The awards, which took place on 24th September 2009 at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, celebrate the brightest and best businesses in the North-east of Scotland.
George Yule, CEO of Dominion Gas, who collected the award on the night, said, “In today’s challenging market place, growing our business on an international scale has not always been easy, however, our teams around the world have risen to the challenge, achieving more than I could have imagined. To be recognised by our peers at the Northern Star Awards is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Dominion.”
Within the last year, Dominion Gas, together with its subsidiary company Argon Isotank, has undertaken an ambitious growth strategy, adding West Africa, Australia, the US, Canada, China and India to its extensive list of global markets, which already includes Norway, Azerbaijan, Singapore and the UK.
