Chart Ferox, a.s. has been awarded two contracts by GAZPROM Germania to provide liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuelling stations for LNG city buses in Poland produced by local bus manufacturer Solbus.
Chart Ferox is responsible for the complete station design and manufacture, and will assist with the installation and commissioning of the stations.
The first LNG vehicle fuelling station, to be located in the city of Olsztyn, utilises a skid-based design facilitating quick and easy installation with minimal civil works, yet still provides all the typical permanent fuelling station features including a sophisticated control system with remote access and diagnostics.
The second, permanent LNG vehicle fuelling station will be located in the Polish capital Warsaw and will be the first station in Europe dedicated to providing LNG as fuel for city buses – incorporating three LNG dispensers provided by Flow Instruments, a Chart company.
