Elme Messer Gaas opens fully automated gas filling station in Riga

Elme Messer Gaas has opened a new fully automated gas filling station in the Baltic States, Riga – an investment worth €6m, of which more that €1.3m was received as a grant from the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).

Igor Berman, Board Member of Elme Messer Gaas AS, commented, “Thanks to the entering of the station into service, we have managed to reach a new level of control over the quality of products, to apply standardised technologies and have increased the efficiency and safety level of production processes. Its output is more than 500 thousand cylinders per year.”

The station, with an area of about 15,000 m2, is fully automated and is capable of producing complex, multi-component mixtures. In addition to the filling of cylinders, the station carries out its own repair and certification, as well as the production and packaging of dry ice.
