Emerson Automation Solutions has designed a new ultra-tight thief hatch to reduce storage tank emissions and help conserve tank contents.
Its new EnardoTM ES-665 spring-loaded device has been created for use on low-pressure storage tanks in response to tighter regulations and the need for improved emissions control from storage tank instruments.
It features increased sealing forces and an “industry-leading” 0.1 standard cubic feet per hour at 90% of setpoint, based on testing at ambient conditions.
