German-Dutch engineering company EMS has developed a new hydrogen (H2) storage system as an innovative solution for the budding H2 infrastructure business.
The EMS storage solution has been designed to store more than 1,000kg of H2 at a nominal working pressure of 500 bar.
The system contains high-strength lightweight composite pressure vessels (Type 4) which will be embedded in standard containers to serve at H2 fuelling stations.
