Energy Recovery joins NASRC, reduces harmful emissions

American energy recovery device manufacturer Energy Recovery has made moves to reduce emissions of harmful refrigerant gases by joining the North American Sustainable Refrigeration Council (NASRC).

The company has also recently decreased the carbon footprint of its product line with new pressure exchanger device, the PX G1300.

Its silver level membership with 501c3 non-profit NASRC aims to help reduce harmful hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant gas emissions while promoting the adoption of natural refrigerants such as ammonia, hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide (CO2).
