Everest Kanto Cylinder (EKC) has announced that the company secured an order worth Rs 400m (around $9m) from defence authorities for supply of specialized gas cylinders.
The company`s order book for the manufacture of CNG and industrial gas cylinders is booked for the next 12 months.
EKC manufactures the widest range of high pressure gas cylinders with higher water capacity (280 litres) which can withstand extreme working pressures of 400 Bar. It manufactures a wide range of cylinders for industrial gases, medical gases, fire fighting equipments, beverage industry, accumulator shells, aerospace, scientific research, CNG-NGV cylinders for vehicles and other applications. It has modern manufacturing units at Aurangabad and Tarapur.
