Excelerate Energy sends medical supplies to help Bangladesh fight pandemic

It was announced today that US-based liquefied natural gas (LNG) company, Excelerate Energy is to join forces with members of the US-Bangladesh Business Council (the Council) to help Bangladesh fight the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic by donating medical supplies.

Partnering with non-profit Project C.U.R.E, the world’s largest distributor of donated medical equipment and supplies to resource-limited communities across the globe, the Council, also comprising of Chevron, HSBC and MetLife, were able to deliver 60 oxygen concentrators and 20 ventilators, in addition to various other medical support.

Steven Kobos, President, CEO, Excelerate, said, “We have a responsibility to our employees and customers in Bangladesh.”

“The Council is a key partner of ours and together we joined forces with Project C.U.R.E. to make a direct impact.”
