Explosion leaves asbestos behind

As the cleanup continues after the Praxair explosion, large amounts of asbestos have been found littering the local area around its St Louis base.

And it has been reported that city officials have now asked the company to move out of the neighbourhood due to the nature of the business.

Company bosses are said to have agreed to look for other quarters.

The asbestos, used as a filler in some of the gas containers, has been mixed with other debris and officials are concerned some particles could enter the air and become dangerous.
