Air Products has opened its fifth hydrogen fuelling station in South Korea, located in the country’s capital, Seoul and placed on-stream in the first week of November.
All of the Air Products stations are equipped with hydrogen compression, storage and dispensing equipment, in addition to mobile fuelling technology. All are in place to support the attempt of the Korean government to promote hydrogen as an alternative fuel for the transportation industry.
K S Koh, global applications and development manager for Air Products Korea, commented, “We commend the Korean government’s commitment to furthering the use of hydrogen for fuelling automobiles. Globally, we have placed more Air Products fuelling equipment in Korea than any country outside of the US.”
“Our projects in Korea show the versatility of our product offerings in this developing technology,” added Koh.
