First Helium has taken a step forward in its helium exploration plans in the Alberta region, having on Wednesday (August 18) completed its assessment of the 8,064 hectares of strategic lands surrounding its discovery well at Worsley.
Sharing the news in a statement, the helium exploration and development company said it has also identified three offsetting drill locations on its Worsley Property. Most recently tested in 2018, the Worsley Well showed 1.3% helium concentration.
Alongside the Worsley Property, First Helium also holds an additional 23,991 hectares of undeveloped land with associated helium rights along the Worsley Trend. Gas analyses from previously drilled wells along the Worsley Trend indicated that over one billion cubic feet of helium has been produced to date.
Commenting on the latest developments, Ed Bereznicki, CEO, said, “We are extremely pleased with the helium development potential of the Worsley Property.”
