The specialists at JSC Uralkhimmash, Russian producers of distillers and electrolytic cells, have produced the column of distillation in the first stage of a technical line of carbamide production, with the equipment intended for JSC Calavatnefteorgsintez.
According to press-cutting reports, hydro-testing of the column is currently taking place, after which it will be sent to the customer. With the exception of the columnar equipment, complete sets of two gleaner-distillers, it is planned to put the first complete set in place by September 2007.
All equipment is made from steels of carbamide capability, with a high degree of stability to corrosion in the conditions of aggressive environments and deliveries with a gross weight of around 35 tons.
The modernisation or reconstruction of equipment is conducted by many enterprises concerned with the production of carbamide today, and practically all new equipment is technically designed by specialists at NIIK and made by Uralkhimmash.
