Airgas has announced that it has been awarded two Fleet Safety Excellence Awards for 2013 by the Compressed Gas Association (CGA).
The CGA the US industrial, specialty and medical gas industry’s standard-setting organisation for the promotion of safety standards and safe practices.
The first award honored Airgas’ cylinder vehicle fleet for the fifth consecutive year; the second award recognized Airgas’ bulk vehicle fleet for the fifth time since 2005.
During a ceremony in St. Augustine, Florida, on behalf of Airgas’ fleet of 5,200 professional drivers, John Anderson, Airgas’ Director of DOT Operations, accepted the Cylinder Vehicle Fleet award and Rafiq Huq, Regional Manager for Airgas Dry Ice and Carbonic, accepted the Bulk Vehicle Fleet award.
