The first hydrogen (H2) refuelling station in France able to produce H2 on-site and on-demand from renewable energies for sustainable mobility has now been installed.
The H2 refuelling station of the FaHyence project was officially commissioned in the presence of Roland Roth, President of the Communauté d’agglomération Sarreguemines Confluences (CASC) and Didier Vaucois, the EDF Grand Est Regional Director, as well as partners of the project and H2 vehicle users.
This achievement is the product of two years of close collaboration between CASC, EDF, McPhy and EIFER who have combined their expertise to design, scale and build an installation in France.
