Fraunhofer ISE signs MoU with University of Cape Town to accelerate fuel cell research

Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE and the University of Cape Town (UCT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate progress in the fields of hydrogen (H2) and fuel cell technology.

Having developed a valuable working relationship over the years, UCT’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Dr Christopher Helbing – the Director of Fraunhofer ISE’s division of H2 technologies – decided to formalise the collaboration. In February both parties came together to sign a MoU centred around H2 technologies.

Under this document, experts from both institutions will collaborate in activities to accelerate progress in the fields of H2 and fuel cell technology.
