Tokyo’s Nirei Industry, producer and distributor of synthetic resin products, has expanded its product line and now offers its PEEK Tube for analysing equipment.
PEEK tubes have gone on the market, characterised by extreme heat resistance, continued operational use temperature of 260C, chemical resistance and the potential to enhance an analysis accuracy.
While conventional stainless steel piping can be susceptible to damage inside, due to the effects of the metal ions in the liquid sample, the advantage with this technological tubing is that it comprises of less impurities and contributes to accurate analysis.
Besides its use for analysers, other applications include catheters for medical use, wire for semiconductor storage, tubing for coolant storage and for use as liquid chromatography piping.
