A joint venture between Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd (Keppel) and Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd (Shell) is contributing significantly to the growth of Singapore’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry following a stellar 2021, which saw the company, FueLNG, conduct more than 460 LNG-related operations.
Focusing on ship-to-ship (STS), truck-to-ship bunkering, and truck-to-industry operations, the company is the only provider of STS bunkering in the country.
Despite challenges posed by the pandemic, FueLNG has seen Singapore’s LNG ecosystem expand through delivery of LNG solutions for customers.
“We are seeing strong demand for LNG in Singapore for bunkering and other industrial uses,” said Chris Ong, Chairman, FuelLNG, CEO, Keppel.
