Gases range offers efficiency and consistency

Air Products South Africa is pleased to announce that its primarily Freshline range of gases offers unmatched excellence for beverage dispensing efficiency and high levels of consistency for users.

Carbon dioxide (CO2) is a standard product of the brewing process and influences the flavour of beer, though if the levels of CO2 fluctuate, the beer can be either too gassy or flat. With draught beer, incorrect levels of CO2 create -problems with dispensing, while the wrong gas pressure could have cost implications for the retailer.

The key according to Air Products SA, is to apply partial pressure to maintain equilibrium in the keg. Nitrogen is also used in the partial pressure blend as it mixes well with CO2 and supplies the extra hydraulic push though in the past, controlling these gas ratios and pressures when using a cylinder-fed dispensing system presented problems. With Air Products Freshline gas range, the company affirms consistency was assured.

Air Products’ Freshline gases can be used pre-blended, or the retailer can use an onsite gas-blending panel. Freshline can supplied from Minitank or Maxitank units where higher volumes are needed and these gases are traceable, safe and hygienic. They are also quality assured and visually specified as a food quality product. For those in the hospitality industry, Air Products also notes that it is happy to give expert advice and consultation.
