As the days and weeks roll by, the gasworld African Conference 2008 draws ever closer and the finer points of the event are mapped out, including the hotly anticipated initial speaker ticket.
Preparations have been in progress for months, a number of bookings have already been taken and as the 1st April lurks just around the corner, it’s no April fool to suggest that time is running out for visitors to confirm their place at this exciting event.
Titled ‘The African Continent – Meeting the Challenges of Supply’, this groundbreaking conference will be the first of its kind in the continent and has been organised to highlight both the drivers for growth and the challenges faced by gas and equipment suppliers in the region. As well as addressing the challenging issues that future demand in the region presents, the event will provide an informative and insightful platform upon which the leading figures within the industrial gas community can converge and discuss.
The conference will take place on 10th & 11th June 2008 and gasworld has recently announced that a number of key speakers have been confirmed, including delegates from Air Products, Chart Industries, Maghreb Oxygene, Herose, the Spiritus Group, the Southern African Compressed Gas Association (SACGA), and Roy Irani of GPS Ltd to name a few.
