With supply and demand in relative balance throughout much of 2020 and into early 2021, the next challenge for helium markets will be to absorb significant, yet anticipated, new capacity from Russia and Qatar, over the coming years.

How will the new capacity impact global helium markets? Will helium markets experience over-supply? Which applications and regions will drive demand? What new challenges will be created for helium suppliers and consumers? How will Russia’s emergence as a major supplier impact the global helium business? How will Qatar adjust to a changing supply chain? Can the North American supply structure balance depleting sources with new, inert gas field extracted Helium?

These questions, and more, will be explored from tomorrow during gasworld’s first ever Helium Super Summit. Why a Super Summit? Because there is so much to explore and debate, that we could not possibly fit all the discussion and networking into our regular one-day summit format – instead, we bring two and a half days of speakers, networking and business opportunities.
