German H2 economy gains momentum: Daimler, Linde and OMV inaugurate new station

Germany has gained further momentum in establishing a hydrogen (H2) economy after industry partners The Linde Group, Daimler and OMV Deutschland opened the country’s 22nd public H2 filling station.

The new H2 station, which features Linde’s IC90 ionic compressor as well as its compact, 700 bar refuelling technology, is located in Metzingen, southwest Germany.

The opening of the new filling station continues the longstanding cooperation between the companies as part of the Clean Energy Partnership (CEP) and marks another step towards a nationwide H2 infrastructure.
