gasworld is thrilled to announce John Scowcroft of the Global CCS Institute as the opening keynote speaker for its CO2 Summit, taking place in Innsbruck, Austria from 6th-7th March, 2017.
Scowcroft is the General Manager of the institute’s Brussels office. He will open the event by discussing the importance of carbon capture, and will aim to set the tone for what will be an informative summit that will explore the key trends and opportunities in the CO2 supply chain today – from new and alternative sourcing channels to evolving production technologies and the development of end-user applications.
The Global CCS Institute is an international membership organisation. Its mission is to accelerate the development, demonstration and deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS), a vital technology to tackle climate change and provide energy security.
